Digital Business Cards for Real Estate Agents
To create a digital business card for real estate agents, add your work phone, brokerage, and portfolio website, then test the contact a client receives. Digital Business Card: NFC QR provides those fields on its free card. Use it to help buyers, sellers, and referral partners save your contact details and find your work. Keep property information on your website, where you can maintain it separately from the card.
Decide where clients should go next
Choose one main destination before filling out the card. For introductions, use your agent profile or portfolio page. For a conversation about a particular home, you can use that property's page, but plan to change it when the listing is no longer relevant. Use a lasting agent page for referrals that arrive later. The app stores a website address; it does not build a portfolio, host property photos, or maintain listing availability. Prepare that destination first and check that it works on a phone.
Fill out the card using the app's fields
Open My Card and enter your professional identity in Full Name, your role in Job Title, and your brokerage in Company. Put your business mobile number in Phone, your work email in Email, and your chosen portfolio address in Website. Include the country calling code if you work with international clients. Tap Save, then open Share to check the preview. Keep the first version focused: someone should be able to recognize you, call you, and find your properties without sorting through unrelated accounts.
Make the brokerage and role clear
Use the professional title and brokerage wording approved for your work. For U.S. National Association of REALTORS members, Article 12 of NAR's Code of Ethics addresses truthful marketing and clear professional identity; Standard of Practice 12-5 addresses firm disclosure in advertising. These are association standards, and they do not establish a universal rule for every agent or country. Have your broker confirm the disclosures your card and linked website need. The app has no dedicated license-number field or automatic disclosure check. Do not assume that adding a logo supplies every required detail.
Test the contact your client will save
Before a showing, send yourself a contact file through Send card, then Send contact file. Open it on another phone and inspect the saved name, company, phone, email, and website. Check that the website reaches your intended page without requiring your own account or a private preview session. Repeat the check with Send card link, since that opens a browser card before the recipient saves a contact. A correct preview on your phone is only part of the check; the saved contact and the destination page must also be useful.
Use the card at a showing or open house
At an open house, open Share and offer the on-screen QR when a visitor wants your details. Big QR gives you a larger display; keep the phone upright and make sure the entire square is visible. The app's QR contains contact information, including your Website field. It is not a QR that opens your listing page directly. If you need a separate property-information sign, create that separately. Pro includes a QR Poster export for sharing your contact details from a printed display. Scan the finished print before putting it out, and label its purpose clearly so visitors know they are saving the agent's contact.
Keep follow-up separate from contact sharing
Giving someone your card does not collect their details for you. The browser card offers a way for recipients to enter their own name, phone, and email and prepare a reply through the available SMS, email, or WhatsApp options. They still need to send that message themselves. This is not an open-house registration system or automatic CRM sync. If you need attendance records, viewing requests, or follow-up tasks, use your brokerage's approved process. Ask which property interested the visitor and how they want you to respond, then record that context in the appropriate place.
Know what changes after you edit a card
Treat each shared card link, exported contact file, and printed QR as a copy of the details available when you created it. Editing your card does not update an earlier link or a contact someone has already saved. After changing your number, brokerage, or Website field, send a fresh card and replace affected printed materials. A portfolio page you control can keep the same address while you update its contents separately. That makes it a useful destination for a general contact card, provided you continue maintaining the page and its links.
Add a second number or destination only when needed
One card can carry your main work phone, brokerage, email, and portfolio website without Pro. Pro adds more card profiles and the Second Phone, Address, Second Website, and Note fields, along with logo and color options. A practical use for Second Website is a separate brokerage profile or an existing appointment page. Adding that address does not turn the app into a scheduling service. If you use separate cards for different business contexts, select the intended card in Cards and verify the Share preview before handing over your phone. Avoid putting essential contact details only in an optional note.
Keep public contact details separate from private property information
Build the card from details you are comfortable sharing beyond the person in front of you. Leave out seller contact information, access codes, alarm instructions, and private viewing notes. Check every outgoing website address yourself, and avoid opening unfamiliar links in cards you receive. Before your next appointment, confirm the active card, call the displayed number from another phone, and open the portfolio destination. Use the same checks whenever you replace a phone number or move to another brokerage.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need Pro for a work phone and portfolio website?
No. The free card includes Phone, Email, Website, Job Title, and Company. Pro is needed for additional card profiles, a second phone or website, extra fields, and branding options. Start with the fields your clients actually need.
Can I include both my mobile and office number?
Yes, with Pro's Second Phone field. The main Phone field is exported as a mobile number, while Second Phone is exported as a work number. Put your business mobile first and your office number second if those labels fit your situation.
Can I put listing photos or a property brochure on the card?
The app does not provide a property gallery or brochure upload. Use Website to point to a page that contains those materials. Keep the page accessible to clients and use only materials you are authorized to share.
Can I use Note for a full property description?
Keep it brief. On the browser card, individual text fields are limited to 500 characters, so a longer note is shortened and the contact downloaded there contains the shorter version. Long text can also prevent QR generation. Put full descriptions on your property website.
Does a client need the app to open my card link?
No. Send card link creates a card that opens in a browser and offers a contact download. Opening that web page and visiting your portfolio require internet access. The client still needs to complete the contact-saving steps on their phone.
Turn your phone into your business card. Business Card Tap sends your details to another phone with a tap over NFC, and falls back to an on-screen QR code when NFC isn't available. Fully offline, no account.
